Hilton Farm - Established 1828

Services

Situated just 15 minutes out of the quaint town of Grahamstown, the Hilton Farm is one of the oldest farms in the Eastern Cape. The original settler home still stands today and is a registered National Monument. This majestic Georgian style house oozes history and forms the centre piece of Hilton, with its stately position welcoming visitors as they enter the drive into the farm, sitting encased in expansive estate gardens and overflowing with charm.

In addition to the Hilton House, which provides a historic backdrop for any event, the farm is host to St Peter's Church, a unique venue and event space known as "The Shearing Barn", beautiful estate grounds overlooking the expansive landscapes and two quaint cottages are available for rent.

After almost 200 years of goat and sheep farming, the lands of Hilton Farm have been retired.
Today, Hilton is a working re-wilding farm, where our team of dedicated scientists are working to restore the original ecosystem and biodiversity of this once iconic landscape.

Hilton Farm is the perfect place to host memorable events, including weddings where services can be carried out in our own historic church or in nature's own private church, corporate events, birthday or graduation parties and more.

Or simply come and stay in our cottages and explore our 3,500 acres of nature at your own pace.
